1. My Sister's Room

Atlanta’s go-to lesbian bar since 1996, My Sister's Room prides itself in being a safe haven and good time for everyone. Also known for having some of the best wings in Atlanta, MSR is conveniently located in Midtown, so a must stop on your visit to the gayborhood during Pride.

2. Blake's on the Park

A staple in Atlanta's LGBTQ+ scene, Blake's on the Park is a midtown bar at the heart of Atlanta’s Gayborhood. More than just a classically skewing cis-male party spot, Blake’s has programming that fits many vibes — craft cocktails on Mondays, Latin bachat and salsa nights on Tuesdays, and frequent guest DJs and drag queens.

3. Mary's

Reviewed as “THE Atlanta queer bar” — Mary’s has a great reputation for being a spot where local and visiting trans and queer icons can go and enjoy themselves judgment free. With friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure patrons know about their non-alcoholic options, Mary’s is considered unpretentious and welcoming. “Expect to get read to filth, let loose, and bum a cig” with a break from the Midtown vibe if you visit for Pride.

4. Bulldogs

The oldest gay bar in ATL, Bulldogs is known for their karaoke nights, pop-up shops, and hip-hop nights for over 40 years. Predominantly a POC space, Bulldogs is also located in Midtown and can attract an older crowd earlier and a younger crowd later in the night. Come early for R&B, fried food, and cheap drinks.

5. Friends on Ponce

Inexpensive, and queer and POC friendly, Friends on Ponce is a great space to swing by during your Pride 2024. Different from a typical dive bar, Friend on Ponce has slot machines, plenty of neon signs, and plenty of personality that are noticeable from the rustic exterior that gives off mountain visitor center vibes.
